The SEC officiating crew in Gainesville had a busy day during Florida’s improbable win over Tennessee, the Gators’ 11th straight win over the Vols.

Several plays involved fumbles — or incompletions depending on your interpretation of the rule — but only two were reviewed, including a touchdown taken off the board for the Gators in the second half.

Upon replay, it looked like Florida defensive lineman Bryan Cox Jr.’s knee was indeed down before he galloped 30 yards with the football following a fumble from Joshua Dobbs that trimmed the Gators’ deficit to 20-14 with 7:01 left in the third quarter.

Earlier in the game, Tennessee running back Alvin Kamara was crunched on a crossing route by Brian Poole and coughed up the ball. Ruled an incomplete pass on the field, it appears Kamara never had full possession of the throw from Dobbs before turning upfield.

If you’re a Gators fan, you’ll probably disagree:

During the Crimson Tide’s less-than-enthusiastic win over Louisiana-Monroe, Alabama defensive end Ryan Anderson was flagged for targeting in the second quarter, but the ruling was overturned after review:

It appears Anderson’s shoulder first makes contact with quarterback Garrett Smith’s chest before the helmets of both players collide.

Vanderbilt dodged a bullet in the second quarter at Ole Miss after Jordan Wilkins’ dive near the goal line was originally ruled a touchdown. After review, Wilkins was ruled down inside the 2 and the Rebels had to eventually settle for a field goal.
