SEC
Streaks and records: What to watch for in Week 6
Here is a noteworthy streak or record to keep an eye on for the 10 SEC teams scheduled to play in Week 6:
- Alabama (vs. Arkansas): Crimson Tide RB Derrick Henry has scored at least one touchdown in 10 consecutive games. That ties him with former Alabama QB Terry Davis for the most in school history.
- Arkansas (at Alabama): The Razorbacks have lost their last five games played in Tuscaloosa and their last eight games against the Crimson Tide.
- Florida (at Missouri): The Gators are 3-0 in games decided by seven or fewer points in 2015. They were just 2-7 in such games during the previous two seasons under former coach Will Muschamp.
- Georgia (at Tennessee): It took a long touchdown run in a blowout loss, but Bulldogs RB Nick Chubb extended a 13-game streak of 100 or more yards rushing in a game. It is the longest active streak in the FBS.
- LSU (at South Carolina): The Tigers, which are now 4-0, have yet to trail an opponent in a game this season. That is a 240-minute streak of being either tied or ahead.
- Mississippi State (vs. Troy): The Bulldogs are on a nine-game winning streak against non-conference opponents during regular season play.
- Missouri (vs. Florida): Freshman Drew Lock became the seventh consecutive Missouri quarterback to win his first career start. First-time starters are 7-for-7 in collecting wins under Gary Pinkel.
- Ole Miss (vs. New Mexico State): Though the Rebels lost to Florida last week, they were still able to extend their streak of being ranked in the Top 25 to 23 consecutive weeks. It is the longest streak for Ole Miss since 1957-62.
- South Carolina (vs. LSU): The Gamecocks have not beat LSU in Columbia in 85 years, but South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier holds a career 11-4 record against the Tigers.
- Tennessee (vs. Georgia): The Vols are just 6-16 against Power 5 conference opponents under Butch Jones, and have won a combined five games against just three SEC opponents (Vanderbilt, Kentucky twice and South Carolina twice) since his arrival in 2013.
