Now that Week 9 is officially in the books, let’s look at the 10 biggest stories you may have missed during the weekend, in no particular order:

1. Missouri QB Maty Mauk has been suspended for the remainder of the 2015 season after an incident outside of a bar Thursday.

2. Auburn coach Guz Malzahn showed the world he is really struggling to make the right play calls. If running the ball gets you inside the red zone, you should probably at least try to keep the ball on the ground once you’re there.

3. Despite ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit’s prediction that Vanderbilt has the toughest defense Houston has faced this season, the Commodores got shut out while Houston had no trouble scoring.

4. Aggies QB Kyler Murray proved himself a stud in his first career college start, collecting just under 400 total yards, one rushing TD and one passing TD.

5. Tide defensive coordinator Kirby Smart surprised the SEC when he expressed interest in the head coaching position at Virginia Tech.

6. Tennessee is still better than Kentucky, despite how things looked at the beginning of the game

7. Even with an injury, Auburn QB Sean White is still better than QB Jeremy Johnson.

8. The winner of the largest cocktail party may be up for grabs, but the Gators left no doubt about who won on the field.

9. The Rebels’ win over the Tigers means they can still be the crushers-of-dreams for LSU, Alabama and Florida—the SEC teams with the hope and a shot at going to the College Football Playoffs. All Ole Miss has to do is win the rest of its games, including the SEC championship, and it would keep an SEC team out of the national championship running for the first time since the 2005 season.

10. If Georgia coach Mark Richt isn’t officially on the chopping block, he should be, according to Bulldogs fans. All of them.
