As we approach the start of the 2020 season, power rankings of conferences and of FBS squads are starting to come out.

Recently, College Football News released its rankings of all 130 FBS teams, and the SEC fared quite well.

In addition to 4 top-10 teams, the conference had 8 squads in the top 25. Here’s where each of the 14 SEC schools ranked:

  • No. 3 — Alabama
  • No. 4 — Georgia
  • No. 5 — LSU
  • No. 7 — Florida
  • No. 12 — Auburn
  • No. 23 — Texas A&M
  • No. 24 — Mississippi State
  • No. 25 — Kentucky
  • No. 28 — Tennessee
  • No. 29 — South Carolina
  • No. 45 — Mizzou
  • No. 48 — Ole Miss
  • No. 63 — Vanderbilt
  • No. 68 — Arkansas

Now, we’ll just have to wait for the season to start to see how these rankings change over the course of the fall!
