Zach Wilson likely woke up feeling this hit.

If you missed Tuesday night’s Hawaii Bowl, you missed a great game between BYU and Hawaii that went down to the wire. The game also featured arguably the biggest hit we’ve seen this bowl season.

Late in the third quarter with the game tied at 31-all, BYU quarterback Zach Wilson got hit near the goal line which resulted in an airborne collision and fumble. Hawaii recovered the fumble in the end zone for a touchback.

The play did not result in Hawaii’s immediate win but given the fact the Warriors won the game 38-34, you could argue this play was a deciding factor in the outcome of the contest.

BYU never scored a touchdown following this point.
