Beamer Ball made its return for South Carolina’s Week 11 game with Vanderbilt.

South Carolina blocked a punt at the beginning of the 4th quarter and took it all the way to the house for 6 points. Kennan Nelson Jr. scored as Vanderbilt coughed up the ball inside its own 30.

Shane Beamer is known for his time as a special teams coach during his tenure on the sidelines. He held the position as an assistant at South Carolina (2007, 2009-2010) and Georgia (2016-2017).

The Gamecocks looked like a much different team on Saturday in all phases of the game. South Carolina is making a push towards bowl eligibility and is well on its way against Vanderbilt.

The Gamecocks will have a chance to keep rolling against Kentucky next with Clemson to finish out the year.
