Clemson coach Dabo Swinney is known as one of the more mild-mannered coaches in the game.

But when bottles were thrown on the field at his players, Swinney let go of some rare emotion that drew an unsportsmanlike flag from the officials.

The sequence drew one of the bigger ovations from the South Carolina crowd at Williams-Brice Stadium, which didn’t have much to cheer about facing a three-touchdown deficit at the end of the first half.

Shortly after the penalty, a public address announcement was made to tell fans to stop throwing things on the field.
