Williams’ return is a sight for sore eyes in Columbia. The Gamecocks have lost a lot to the transfer portal after a disappointing 5-7 season. 15 players, including Juice Well and reportedly Mario Anderson, have entered the portal since the end of the year.
Williams originally started his career at Delaware in 2020 before transferring to South Carolina in 2021. He’s played in most games since that point and has amassed over 170 tackles across his current stint in Columbia.
He’ll add to that and then some next season, no doubt.
