Deebo Samuel and the San Francisco 49ers are hosting the Los Angeles Rams on “Monday Night Football”.

Samuel was set to enter the final year of his rookie contract before he inked an extension during the offseason, meaning that he’ll be in the fold until 2025. While there was some back and forth between the team and Samuel’s camp, the former South Carolina standout—a 1st-time All-Pro in 2021—has one less thing to worry about.

And the versatile offensive threat continues to show his worth to his team. As you can see below, late in the 2nd quarter, he broke off a brilliant 57-yard catch-and run sequence to extend the 49ers’ slim advantage over the visiting Rams.

The 49ers held a 14-6 lead on the Rams heading into the locker room. They are looking to get back to .500 on the season after suffering a loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 3.
