EJ Jenkins, former South Carolina receiver/tight end, reveals ACC transfer destination
EJ Jenkins was one of a few South Carolina players to enter the NCAA transfer portal following the conclusion of this year’s spring practice session.
Now, the former Gamecocks receiver/tight end has chosen a new school for the 2022 season.
As you can see below, Jenkins — a 2-star player out of Virginia in the 2017 recruiting class who originally played for St. Francis before heading to South Carolina in 2021 — took to Twitter on Monday evening to reveal he was committing to Georgia Tech:
Thank god for allowing me to continue this journey. In addition, thank you to all the coaches that reached out during this process. With that being said I will be finishing my college football career in the A! @GeorgiaTechFB @therealkwat @CoachChipLong @CoachCollins pic.twitter.com/KstY2Uct6J

This past season, Jenkins appeared in 12 games and made 1 start. He recorded 8 catches for 117 yards and 1 touchdown.
How he fares in his final season at Georgia Tech remains to be seen, but his time in Columbia has officially come to an end.
