Former Gamecock Jackie Bradley Jr. continues to make difficult catches look routine
Former South Carolina OF Jackie Bradley Jr. isn’t the best hitter in the world, but the Boston Red Sox play him in center field on a nightly basis anyway.
Why? Well, he’s a defensive wizard who uses his speed and instincts to make plays no human being has any business making.
He was at it again on Tuesday night against the Tampa Bay Rays. As you can see below, he makes this play look fairly routine, even though it’s a play not many other MLB players would ever make:

After a review, it was decided that Bradley did indeed catch that ball, just like he knew all along.
Currently, the Red Sox trail the Rays 5-1 in the 8th inning, but if not for Bradley’s nice play, that deficit would be even worse.
