The South Carolina Gamecocks have a first-half lead against Mississippi State in a game critical for both teams’ NCAA Tournament hopes and for SEC Tournament seeding.

A big part of the Gamecocks’ success recently has been forward Keyshawn Bryant, who has emerged as a talented defender and an elite dunker.

As you can see below, he lived up to both labels in a dynamic sequence in the first half. First, he blocks a Mississippi State shot, then he runs the floor and throws down a big-time dunk:

The winner of this game will be in decent position for a top-4 seed and a double-bye in the upcoming SEC Tournament.

We’ll see if Bryant and the Gamecocks can continue to hold off Reggie Perry and the Bulldogs in Columbia.
