Looking ahead: South Carolina lands first commitment for 2020 calss

The South Carolina Gamecocks just put together an intriguing 2018 recruiting class, but now they’re on to the 2019 and even the 2020 classes.
On Saturday, the Gamecocks made their first addition to the 2020 class, landing talented RB Mecose Todd out of Georgia, per 247Sports.
The major recruiting sites have yet to rank Todd, but considering he holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida and others, it’s safe to say he has some serious talent.
Todd is a 6-foot, 200-pound back, and it’ll be interesting to see how his last two years of high school ball go.
For now, at least, he’s committed to South Carolina, and that’s a big get for coach Will Muschamp and the Gamecocks:
