South Carolina has landed its 3rd commitment of the day.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Gamecocks earned a pledge from 4-star cornerback Braydon Lee. He chose South Carolina over offers from programs like Ohio State and Maryland, amongst others.

Here’s his announcement:

Lee is a huge addition for the Gamecocks. He’s currently ranked as the No. 229 overall player and the No. 18 cornerback in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 7 player from the state of Maryland.

He attends Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Lee is the 2nd commit from South Carolina to come from that high school on Wednesday, joining offensive tackle Mike Williams.

South Carolina now has 10 commitments in the class of 2024. Overall, the class ranks No. 5 nationally per 247Sports Composite rankings.
