Murray-Boyles is originally from South Carolina and told that returning to his home state was an appealing option.

“I really felt like it’s a place I can thrive,” Murray-Boyles said. “It’s in my backyard, I’m from here so I already know the culture of USC so knowing that and knowing how coach Paris coaches, it makes it all better.”
