South Carolina picks up commitment from in-state 2019 TE KeShawn Toney

The South Carolina Gamecocks hosted some recruits over the weekend, and it is already paying off, as they’ve made an addition to their 2019 class.
The latest addition to coach Will Muschamp’s group hails from South Carolina, and will play on offense as a tight end.

Toney has yet to be rated by 247Sports or the major recruiting services, but the 6-3, 240-pound tight end has caught the Gamecocks’ eye.
The Gamecocks now have seven players in their 2019 class. Prior to Toney’s commitment, the class was ranked No. 6 in the SEC and No. 10 nationally, per 247Sports.
