Break out the Garnet on Garnet as South Carolina gets set to host Auburn on Saturday at noon ET.

The Gamecocks will also wear black helmets as Auburn makes its first visit to Williams-Brice Stadium since 2011. It’s the first time this season the Gamecocks have worn this combination.

Against Tennessee, they wore black pants, black jerseys and black helmets. Against Florida, the Gamecocks wore white pants, white jerseys and white helmets. Against Vanderbilt last week, South Carolina wore black pants, white jerseys and white helmets.

Auburn is hoping to keep pace in the SEC after it bounced back with a win over Arkansas last week following the loss to Georgia two weeks ago. Auburn QB Bo Nix had a controversial play at the end of the Arkansas game that has been widely debated as an incorrect call that cost Arkansas a win. South Carolina is seeking its second straight win for the first time in 10 games after it beat Vanderbilt 41-7 last week. Coach Will Muschamp said the team has been more upbeat in the days since the win.

A key matchup will be Gamecocks RB Kevin Harris, who has run for 100 or more yards the past two weeks. Harris and Shi Smith have emerged as two key players on the Gamecocks offense, and they’ll need big games from them if they knock off Auburn for the first time since 1933. The Tigers have not allowed a 100-yard rusher this season.
