South Carolina trolled for on-field ceremony that delayed start of 2nd quarter, frustrated Shane Beamer

South Carolina can’t get out of its own way against Georgia.
The Gamecocks have found themselves in a 21-0 hole thanks to 2 touchdowns by Brock Bowers: one on an end-around and one on a pretty catch in the end zone. Stetson Bennett IV has continued to make a case for himself as a legitimate Heisman Trophy candidate. Meanwhile, any time the Gamecocks look to gather momentum against the Bulldogs, such as on a successful fake punt late in the 1st, they fail to sustain it.
One moment that will stand out for the wrong reasons occurred between the 1st and 2nd quarters, though. Apparently there was an on-field ceremony at Williams-Brice Stadium that stretched a little bit longer than planned, as you can see below:

Shane Beamer was shown on the ESPN broadcast visibly frustrated by the delay, as if being down 14-0 after a quarter of play wasn’t bad enough.
The Gamecocks head coach has preached a message of joy and positivity since being hired a season ago. Right now, things aren’t looking good at home against the No. 1 team in the country.
Meanwhile, everyone had jokes:

They just knew they weren’t gonna need the end zone against Georgia.
