South Carolina is down 14-0 in the 1st to No. 1 Georgia at Williams-Brice Stadium. After the Gamecocks came up empty on their first drive, the Bulldogs responded with a touchdown, then extended their lead after Spencer Rattler threw an interception on the next Gamecocks possession.

Shane Beamer’s team will likely need to pull out all the stops in order to come away with a massive upset in Columbia. And on 4th-and-6 from their own 29, the Gamecocks used a little trickery to extend the drive. Watch below as Kai Kroeger hit Traevion Kenion with a 20-yard completion to put his team at the 49:

Unfortunately for the Gamecocks, the drive fizzled out after MarShawn Lloyd broke off a nice run to put South Carolina past midfield. It would later go for it on 4th-and-9 from the 37 before Jalen Brooks was tackled well short of the marker by Kelee Ringo.

Credit to the Gamecocks for trying to make something out of this one, though.
