Spencer Rattler isn’t ready to give answers on his future with South Carolina just yet.

The senior quarterback, who still has another year of eligibility, accepted an invite to the Reese’s Senior Bowl, prompting questions about whether he will be declaring for the NFL Draft after this season.

Rattler did not give a straightforward answer to the question.

“I’m focused on this game, obviously, on Saturday,” Rattler said. “Gotta take care of that first. Could be my last time out there, you never know, I’ve got another year of eligibility as well. I’m ready to play out there with my team, finish out strong and have a good time.”

Rattler certainly has what it takes to play at the next level. He’s recorded 3,074 yards and 19 touchdowns this season.

But before he makes a decision on his 2024 plans, he’s looking to pick up a win over Clemson to secure bowl eligibility. Last season, South Carolina got the best of Clemson in an upset, and the Gamecocks are looking for another win this week.
