Video: South Carolina TE Hayden Hurst responds to NSFW ad that bears his image

As TE Hayden Hurst and the South Carolina Gamecocks took their turn at SEC Media Days on Thursday, an unusual story emerged.
One Reddit user found an image of Hurst in a NSFW ad for an adult toy, a use of Hurst’s likeness that is clearly unauthorized.
At SEC Media Days, Hurst was asked if he was aware of the ad and was taken by surprise. In the video below, he says this is the first he’s heard of the unusual use of his image:

Obviously, there’s no way South Carolina or the NCAA approved the use of Hurst’s image for an adult toy ad, so the makers of the ad will likely be hearing from some lawyers in the very near future.
Said lawyers may also want to explain the difference between football and rugby to the ad’s creators.
