Cam Ward earns high praise from Micah Parsons as future NFL QB
Cam Ward has quickly made his presence felt at Miami as the Hurricanes moved to 5-0 last Saturday after coming back from down 23 points to win 39-38.
He is near the top of the odds when it comes to winning the Heisman trophy, and the Hurricanes have a great chance of making the College Football Playoff.
His play hasn’t just caught the attention of college football fans, as Dallas Cowboys superstar Micah Parsons thinks he a future star in the NFL.
All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons on Miami QB Cam Ward:
“From what I’ve seen on the football field, when you talk about a quarterback I’d want on my team, it would be Cam Ward.
He has the chance to be the first quarterback taken [in the draft].
He’s one of them ones.” pic.twitter.com/fpaRrTVi9V

“From what I’ve seen on the football field, when you talk about a quarterback I’d want on my team, it would be Cam Ward,” Parsons said. ” His relentless attitude of teammates and wanting more. I have never met Cam Ward a day in my life. When you talk about a quarterback I would want on my team, it would be Ward. Early, Virginia Tech, they come back. Now, they are down to California, they come back. When your quarterback is locked in like that, I think he has a chance to be the 1st quarterback taken.”
Ward has brought the Hurricanes back in multiple games this year that they would have lost early in the Mario Cristobal days. The Hurricanes are off this week, but will be back in action next week against Louisville. If Ward can continue to guide them to the CFP and a trip to New York for the Heisman, Parsons might just be right about him being the first quarterback taken.
