Florida State runs one of the worst fourth-down trick plays you’ll ever see

Florida State is trying to avoid an 0-4 start on Saturday, taking on Louisville in Tallahassee.

However, down 31-20, the Seminoles faced a key fourth-down situation. And, in truly embarrassing fashion, they decided to run a horrible trick play.

As you can see below, the Seminoles had their quarterback pretend to be confused by a play call on the sidelines, only to snap the ball directly to the running back. It did not fool the Cardinals at all:

Louisville continues to lead 31-20 midway through the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, FSU should probably go ahead and rip that play out of the playbook.

What will happen if FSU falls to 0-4? Things clearly aren’t great right now in Tallahassee.
