Iowa got a stiff test from South Dakota State, and led just 5-3 with 10 minutes remaining in the game.

By that point in the game, the teams combined for 15 first downs, and just 6-for-28 on third down conversions. Iowa mustered just 39 yards rushing, and had 2 turnovers.

Despite the rough day for the offense, the announcers in the game had enough time to offer some commentary about the crowd, including if one fan resembled a popular Food Network host.

“Wait a second, are we in Flavor Town,” he said. “Oh ok, that’s not Guy Fieri. I was about to leave the booth.”

With his head down for an extended period of time, evidently the fan also wasn’t too impressed with the offenses. As they still only combined for just 270 yards by 6:33 remaining.

The teams each kicked a field goal in the first half, and then Iowa tacked on a safety in the third quarter to grab the lead.
