Taking on the Western Michigan Broncos in a non-conference matchup at Spartan Stadium, Michigan State officially unveiled the ugliest uniform in college football.

Here are some promotional images from the team’s Twitter account:

Originally announced in April, the jerseys are the latest in a line of alternates the Spartans have worn over the years. The program introduced white helmets for the first time in 2017, and wore bronze Pro Combat uniforms in 2011.

Looking to improve on last year’s 7-6 record, Michigan State opened their season with a 28-7 win over Tulsa. After Western Michigan, the Spartans host Arizona State in the return game of a home-and-home. The Sun Devils won last season’s meeting, 16-13, in Tempe.
