Maryland kicker attempts hilariously bad tackle on Michigan kickoff-return TD

Kickers aren’t exactly known for their tackling prowess, but most of them will at least give it a shot to prevent a touchdown.
Not Maryland’s Joseph Petrino, though. No, the Terrapins’ kicker had no desire to get involved in a tackle against Michigan on the opening kickoff.
As you can see below, Petrino’s hilariously bad effort was the icing on the cake of a long touchdown by Giles Jackson:

That wasn’t a good start for the Terps, who found themselves down a touchdown before 30 seconds had even run off the clock.
Maybe Petrino will be put through some tackling drills during practice this week.
