NC State is by far the most unlikely regional winner of this year’s Final Four. On a magical run as an unlikely Cinderella of the NCAA Tournament, the Wolfpack have bettors believing that Kevin Keatts’ team can pull off what was seen as unthinkable not too long ago.
Ahead of Saturday’s Final Four action, DraftKings revealed which teams are being bet the most. In data shared with Saturday Down South, 11-seed NC State is showing to be a popular pick to make it to the championship game.
NC State’s game against 1-seed Purdue is a big one for the book. Per DraftKings, Alabama-UConn leads in number of bets placed, but NC State-Purdue ranks higher on the handle, meaning more money has been placed on that game.
The Wolfpack is getting notable action to pull off the upset. At DraftKings, UConn has the most moneyline bets of the Final Four teams, but NC State leads in handle. As a spread pick, NC State is second in both bets and handle.
