On a tough Saturday in College Station, Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher got some good news for his team’s future.
East St. Louis, Illinois safety Antonio Johnson announced his commitment to Texas A&M in a video (below) posted to his Twitter account on Saturday afternoon:

Listed at 6-2, 179 pounds, Johnson is rated 4-stars, the No. 4 Illinois product, No. 9 safety and No. 143 prospect overall nationally for the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite. Johnson had 25 scholarship offers, including Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia.
Johnson is commitment No. 17 in Texas A&M’s 2020 class, which is ranked No. 5 in the SEC and No. 12 on the Composite. His highlights can be viewed below:
