Earlier this offseason, Texas A&M QB James Foster — a 4-star signee from the class of 2018 — entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Last week, he had a change of heart and rejoined the Aggies, withdrawing from the transfer portal.
Now, though, it appears he’s changed his mind yet again. According to 247Sports reporter Chris Hummer, Foster is back in the transfer portal:
Texas A&M QB James Foster is in the transfer portal, per @chris_hummer. He had previously removed his name from the portal last week. Former four-star in the 2018 class. https://t.co/waLhPMtSly

Foster appeared in 4 games as a redshirt freshman in 2019, completing 2 of his 5 pass attempts for 25 yards. He also ran 2 times for 17 yards.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but now that he’s re-entered the transfer portal, it does seem likely that his time in College Station will soon officially come to an end.
