Deion Sanders, Jackson State land commitment from former Texas A&M LB
Deion Sanders and the Jackson State Tigers are coming off a big 2021 season and are building some major momentum heading into 2022.
The No. 1 overall recruit in the 2022 class, DB Travis Hunter, is heading to Jackson this fall, as are some other impressive recruits.
And, on Wednesday, former Texas A&M LB Antonio Doyle Jr. announced via Twitter he was committing to Sanders’ squad:
Have faith in whatever you do. keep on moving forward. God will see you through.Thank you @DeionSanders and @CoachHartJSU. #IBelieve #CoachPrime #CollegeFootball @CoachReedLive pic.twitter.com/lbziBDCMxg

Doyle was a 4-star member of the Aggies’ 2020 recruiting class out of St. Louis. In 2021, he appeared in 2 games, recording 7 tackles.
How he fares at Jackson State remains to be seen, but this is yet another big-time addition to the roster for Coach Prime.
