WATCH: 5-star Texas A&M commit Demond Demas shows off his athleticism by throwing down monstrous jam
If he didn’t want to play football at Texas A&M, it looks like Demond Demas would fit right in with Buzz Williams Aggie basketball program.
For those that don’t follow recruiting, Demas is a five-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting cycle out of Tomball High School in Tomball, Texas. More importantly, he’s committed to play for Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-3, 182-pound Demas is currently rated as the No. 17 overall prospect and the No. 2 receiver in the nation for the 2020 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. He’s already been announced as an All-American Bowl participant and has been clocked in as a 4.4 40-yard dash. During his junior season at Tomball, Demas caught 50 passes for 1,574 yards and 23 touchdowns. That’s 31.4 yards per catch average and nearly a touchdown per every other reception.
Oh, and he plays a little basketball.
