Jimbo Fisher lamented Texas A&M’s loss to Mississippi State on Saturday, as the Aggies struggled in several areas in a 42-24 loss.

After the game, Fisher addressed several of the problems facing Texas A&M.

“Mississippi State played a good football game,” Fisher said. “Deserving to win. They played better than we did and coached better than we did.”

The Aggies gave up 473 yards of offense in the game, as State led 14-0 and then cruised to a lopsided victory. Along the way, State got 4 sacks in the win.

Many of the problems came down to execution, Fisher said.

“When you get a chance to make a play on the ball, you have to catch it,” he said. “We had those 2 turnover chances in the first drive.”
