Johnny Manziel has had a hot and cold relationship with the new XFL. First, he said he would never play in the league.

Now, it appears he has reconsidered that stance, at least for a few hours. On Friday, he posted a tweet calling for XFL commissioner Oliver Luck to “give the people what they want.”

However, he then deleted his Twitter account. The tweet was captured here by NFL reporter Dov Kleiman:

Recently, Manziel took a shot at the XFL on Twitter, so it seems he’s had a change of heart.

At this point, it doesn’t seem the XFL has any interest in the former Heisman winner, but things could, of course, change.
