Texas A&M grabbed its first lead of the Texas Bowl, thanks to quarterback Kellen Mond.

Mond ripped of a 67-yard touchdown run slicing right through the Cowboys defense for the 21-14 lead early in the fourth quarter.

Entering the game, the Aggies were down to just one running back in Isaiah Spiller, and most everyone knew Mond would carry a bulk of the load; however, he could be the difference.

Mond’s previous longest run of the season was 36 yards. He nearly duplicated that on one play.

Mond has thrown for just 80 yards and one touchdown, but he’s added 88 rushing, including the go-ahead score.

The Aggies have scored 21 unanswered points after Oklahoma State started 14-0. There’s a little over 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
