Texas A&M grabbed its first lead of the Texas Bowl, thanks to quarterback Kellen Mond.
Mond ripped of a 67-yard touchdown run slicing right through the Cowboys defense for the 21-14 lead early in the fourth quarter.
Entering the game, the Aggies were down to just one running back in Isaiah Spiller, and most everyone knew Mond would carry a bulk of the load; however, he could be the difference.
Mond’s previous longest run of the season was 36 yards. He nearly duplicated that on one play.
