Former Texas A&M QB Kyle Allen announced he was leaving the Aggies program on Thursday evening, and the speculation on where he may go next started immediately.

Fox Sports national college football analyst Bruce Feldman has checked in with a story on his potential destination.

The most likely scenario at this point?

Oklahoma.

Allen was quoted by Feldman as having this to say about the possibility of joining the Sooners:

“Oklahoma comes to mind because it does fit all those things, and my old (high school) teammate (Mark Andrews) is a receiver there, and coach (Bob) Stoops is an all-time great coach,” Allen said.

Feldman reports that Allen has been granted his release to transfer to any school that is not in the SEC or on the future schedule for the Aggies.

Choosing to join noted SEC-hater Bob Stoops would do little to help Allen’s popularity with SEC fans.
