Another All-American has made his decision on National Signing Day as the top uncommitted running back in the country has come off the board.

Texas native LJ Johnson had plenty of options heading into National Signing Day, but in the end, the 4-star prospect announced he will play his college football at Texas A&M.

Before making this decision, Johnson had previously announced a final list of Texas A&M, LSU, Texas and Oklahoma.

The Cy-Fair High School standout was rated as the No. 4 running back in the country and the No. 9 overall prospect from the state of Texas in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Johnson was scheduled to participate 2021 All-American Bowl before that game was canceled due to COVID.

The Cypress, Texas native will head to college after racking up 4,352 rushing yards and 77 touchdowns on the ground during his final three prep seasons.

Johnson is the second commitment for running back coach Tommie Robinson, alongside Miami (Fla.) recruit Amari Daniels‍, and the 23rd member overall of the class of 2021.
