Texas A&M is down a commitment as of Friday morning.
Four-star wide receiver Troy Omeire (Sugar Land, Texas) decommitted from the Aggies and flipped his commitment to Texas, he announced on social media.
“To coach craig and all my a&m fans i truly appreciate your support throughout my commitment but i will be continuing my journey at the university of texas #hookem,” he wrote.

The 6-4, 210-pound pass catcher had been committed to Texas A&M since June 8, 2019, but things have obviously changed. Omeire is currently ranked as the nation’s No. 32 overall wide receiver and the state of Texas’ No. 29 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Of course, Texas A&M and Texas are recruiting rivals, but you don’t see prospects flipping from one program to another too often.
