Mike Zimmer, head coach of the Minnesota Vikings, isn’t one to mince words when it comes to talking about his team.

So, after Minnesota lost 37-10 at rival Green Bay on Sunday Night Football, it’s understandable Zimmer was pretty upset with his squad.

In his crosshairs after the game was backup QB Kellen Mond. The former Texas A&M star came in for 1 series in the game, going 3-and-out and nearly throwing an interception.

In his postgame press conference, Zimmer was asked if the Vikings wanted to get a look at Mond in what has become a meaningless regular-season finale next week. His response was incredibly icy:

“Do you think you want to get a look at Mond next week?” a reporter asks.

“Not particularly,” Zimmer responds.

“Mike, why don’t you want to get a look at him?” another reporter asks.

“I seem him every day,” Zimmer responds curtly.

Ouch. Sounds like we should expect Mond to see the field much next weekend in Week 18.
