Texas A&M has had its sights set on Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher ever since firing Kevin Sumlin following the regular season.

Now, it appears the Aggies have their man. Florida State beat writer Wayne McGahee III reported on Friday afternoon that Fisher was accepting the Texas A&M job.

Fisher spent eight years at FSU, winning a national title in 2013, but tensions have been high in Tallahassee this offseason:

Now, the Seminoles will launch a coaching search of their own. Meanwhile, the Aggies will welcome the championship-winning coach to College Station.
