Texas A&M adds in-state walk-on QB Jagger LaRoe to 2018 class

The Texas A&M Aggies have QBs Nick Starkel and Kellen Mond returning to the program next season, as Starkel is a rising redshirt sophomore and Mond is a rising sophomore.
Therefore, new coach Jimbo Fisher doesn’t necessarily need to add a quarterback right away, but it’s always nice to have one in every recruiting class.
On Tuesday, the Aggies did manage to land a preferred walk-on quarterback to the class, as Jagger LaRoe announced he was committing to Texas A&M:

LaRoe hasn’t been rated by the major recruiting services, but he threw for 33 touchdowns and only five interceptions in 2017 for Colleyville Heritage High School.
Whether the Aggies add another quarterback on National Signing Day or not remains to be seen, but LaRoe will at least be heading to College Station next year.
