Jimbo Fisher has long been known as a coach who can land elite tight end talent, and he did it again Wednesday.

Three-star Katy, Texas, tight end Fernando Garza committed to the Aggies over offers from Arizona, Michigan State, Virginia and Virginia Tech, among others. The 6-foot-5, 244-pound pass catcher and blocker is ranked as the nation’s No. 35 overall tight end and the state of Texas’ No. 103 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Garza shared his commitment video via Twitter:

Texas A&M offered Garza Saturday, and it didn’t take him long to make his commitment.

Garza became the Aggies 7th commitment in the class of 2021, including the 4th commitment in the last week. His commitment boosts A&M close to the top 20 in recruiting rankings for 2021.
