The Georgia Bulldogs are losing a graduate assistant to another SEC school.

Per Georgia reporter Marc Weiszer, graduate assistant Nick Williams is leaving Athens to join Jimbo Fisher’s staff at Texas A&M as a defensive analyst.

Williams confirmed the news of his move via his personal Instagram page:

Williams played linebacker and safety for the Bulldogs from 2008 to 2010. He has been with Kirby Smart’s staff as a graduate assistant for a couple of years now.

Now, he’s heading to College Station to take the next step of his coaching career, leaving his alma mater behind.
