Texas A&M basketball is working on the roster for the 2023-24 season. On Monday, the Aggies added a veteran piece to the puzzle with a grad transfer out of UMass.

The player is Wildens Leveque, a 6-foot-11 big man that spent 1 season with the Minutemen after 3 seasons at South Carolina.  He brings over 100 games of his experience with him to the Aggies.

During his season with UMass, Leveque appeared in 28 games (25 starts) while averaging 5.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 19.6 minutes per game. The season before that, Leveque played 29 games (28 starts) for the Gamecocks with averages of 6.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks.

Leveque has 108 appearances throughout his 4-year career with 76 starts. He’s averaged 5.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 0.9 blocks while shooting 54% from the floor. He brings length, experience and an interior presence to the Aggies for the season ahead as Buzz Williams and his staff look to return to the NCAA Tournament.
