Texas A&M DB reportedly withdrawing from transfer portal, returning to Aggies
Most players who enter the NCAA transfer portal find a home with a new team. Entering the portal, though, does not bind a player to transfer out. One Texas A&M defender has reportedly decided to withdraw from the portal and return to the Aggies.
Bobby Taylor, a defensive back from the 2022 recruiting class, is returning to Texas A&M, according to Matt Zenitz of On3.
Texas A&M second-year defensive back Bobby Taylor, who entered the transfer portal Tuesday, informed the Aggies staff today that he plans to stay at A&M instead of transferring, sources tell @on3sports.

Taylor announced his transfer portal entry Tuesday on his Twitter account. His Instagram story included a post saying “and don’t think I wanted to leave.” Judging by Saturday’s report, it appears whatever issues he had at Texas A&M have been worked out.
Taylor did not play during the 2022 season. He will enter 2023 as a redshirt freshman who can play up to 4 seasons.
Out of Katy (Texas), Taylor was rated 4-stars, the No. 25 cornerback and No. 193 prospect overall on the 247Sports Composite for the Class of 2022. He chose the Aggies over 31 other scholarship offers.
