The Texas A&M Aggies have Kellen Mond established as their starting quarterback for the 2019 season (and perhaps the 2020 season as well).

However, beyond that, they need to reload at the position, and they took a big step toward that on Tuesday night, landing an elite in-state 2021 quarterback.

As you can see below, 4-star dual-threat QB Eli Stowers announced via Twitter that he was committing to Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies:

Per the 247Sports composite, Stowers is the No. 4 dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2021 and the No. 24 overall recruit from the state of Texas.

Stowers is the first player in the Aggies’ 2021 class. With him on board, that class already ranks No. 22 in the nation and No. 7 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
