Pagliarini is using his extra year of eligibility to play for Texas A&M. In the COVID-shortened 2020 season, Pagliarini made just 11 appearances as a freshman. He would play in 131 contests over the next 3 years.
This past season, Pagliarini’s production at the plate surged. He break 6 school records this past season, including: home runs (24), RBI (97), total bases (177), slugging percentage (.851), on-base percentage (.528), and walks (49). Pagliarini posted a .978, the best mark of his 4-year career, working the hot corner in 2023.
“I’m proud for having one of our best Fairfield Baseball players recognized as the top position player in the Northeast region,” Stags head coach Bill Currier said of Pagliarini’s ECAC honor, per the team website. “He had one of the best power and RBI lines of any player I have coached in 38 years in D1 baseball.”
Texas A&M is looking to improve upon a 38-27 mark in 2023, a season that ended in the Stanford Regional.
