Texas A&M focusing on Alabama QB Jalen Hurts' running ability
Alabama true freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts is an exceptional athlete. Through seven games, the former 4-star recruit and top overall dual-threat prospect ranks No. 3 among SEC signal-callers with 428 rushing yards and only trails Texas A&M Trevor Knight (9) with eight touchdowns on the ground.
This weekend will feature one of the biggest games of the 2016 season when Alabama hosts the Texas A&M in a battle of the only two undefeated teams remaining in the SEC, and it looks like the Aggies are fully aware of Hurts’ capabilities to extend plays and break things open with his feet:
Daeshon Hall: We have to try to contain Jalen Hurts. He's very mobile, so we have to keep him in check.

Justin Evans: I'm ready to see how Jalen Hurts handles pressure. We have to be focused on his running ability.

Eluemunor: I love my team. I know what this team can do. We worked hard to be 6-0. We've been counted out and haven't played the game yet.

Texas A&M, which comes in at No. 6 in this week’s AP Top 25 poll, enters Week 8 with the seventh-best run defense in the conference (159.33 yards allowed per game) but has been stout when it comes to containing the opposing quarterback, surrendering a total of 77 yards on 69 carries (1.1 ypc) with zero touchdowns.
