Texas A&M players react to committee's decision to leave the Aggies out of the College Football Playoff
Did Texas A&M deserve a shot to play for it all over Notre Dame (which just got blown out on Saturday night) or Ohio State (which played just six games and the Big Ten had to change its rules just to allow the Buckeyes to play for the league championship)?
It’s hard to argue otherwise when you consider Texas A&M just completed its regular season with an 8-1 SEC record with a big win on the road against Tennessee.
While Texas A&M likely deserved that shot, the Aggies were just ranked No. 5 by the committee while 6-0 Ohio State is ranked No. 3 and Notre Dame is ranked No. 4 coming off a 34-10 loss to Clemson in the ACC Championship Game.
To no surprise, a few Aggies were quick to vent their frustrations with the College Football Playoff committee’s decision to leave the Aggies out this postseason.
Here are a few of the Aggies that spoke out moments after the latest College Football Playoff field was announced:
“Texas A&M has no quality wins.”
All of these SEC teams that are “MEDIOCRE” in the media’s eyes would run the table in some of these other leagues. Only a few teams out of the SEC can really play in the SEC.

I just don’t understand how Notre Dame makes the playoffs. They beat Clemson with no Trevor Lawrence and then just got smoked last night in their shot to make the playoffs. A&M loses one game in the SEC to the best team in the country?? When they had all their weapons?? Crazy.
