Texas A&M is scorching hot right now, and the Aggies have shown a flair to turn things on late in games this season.

Last weekend, it was a wild come-from-behind win against South Carolina in improbable fashion. That one ended on a walk-off home run from Brett Minnich for the Aggies.

Opening a weekend series vs. Mississippi State Friday night, Texas A&M poured across 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th. That gave the Aggies another late rally and an 8-7 win.

Saturday proved to be a similar story for the Aggies. Trailing 5-4 heading into the 7th, Jack Moss gave A&M the lead with a 2-run double. After the Bulldogs tied it, Ryan Targac put the Aggies back on top for good in the bottom of the 8th.

A&M scored 5 runs from the 7th inning on to take the win, 9-6. It gives the Aggies their 6th-straight series win going back to the beginning of April vs. Kentucky.

Now, A&M can go for the sweep in Sunday’s series finale.
