Texas A&M and South Carolina battled it out in what was the wildest game on the slate Saturday. In the end, it produced jubilation for the Aggies but heartbreak for the Gamecocks.

The afternoon started with South Carolina racing out to a 9-0 lead through 4 innings. That was punctuated by a 7-run frame for the Gamecocks in the 2nd inning.

Then, Texas A&M started the long march back into the game. With 5-run frames in the 5th inning and 8th inning, the Aggies took an 11-10 lead into the 9th inning thanks to a 2-run single by Troy Claunch.

South Carolina did not go quietly in the 9th with a solo shot by Braylen Wimmer to tie it up at 11-all. Later in the inning, a wild fielders choice and error gave the Gamecocks the lead once again at 12-11.

In the bottom of the 9th, the Aggies were down to their final strike when Logan Britt drew a 2-out walk. That brought Brett Minnich to the plate with a bit of magic in store:

After the rally, the Aggies land the series win after taking the first two games vs. the Gamecocks. The series finale is set for Sunday afternoon.
